A manufacturer of machine tools contracted us to perform the milling required to finish this large base frame. The weldment was composed of steel, the areas to be milled had dimensions of 125.50″ in length, and 18.38″ in width. Utilizing our 96″ by 144″ DeVlieg boring mill, we performed the mill profile, windows, and slots, as well as hole drilling and tapping.
